NIPC (Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission) decree of 1995 allows 100% foreign ownership of firms outside the petroleum sector, where investment is limited to existing joint ventures or new production-sharing agreements. Foreign investors must register with the NIPC after incorporation under the Companies and Allied Matters Decree of 1990. Current Investors include British Airways, DHL, Virgin Group, Chevrolet, Ericsson, Volkswagen Group, Hilton Hotels. |
